Greetings and Salutations
Yes its that time of the year again, “the
end of the year”. 2009 has come and gone.
The season was not a bad one, for most of
us who enjoy the summer, six months from April to the end
of September, we had quite a reasonable summer, with good
weather, and consistent waves, many surfers having some
of the best rides for many a year.
Business wise we found that many people,
and companies that we have worked with for many years, have
changed with the tide of the social and political climate,
“centre right” becoming capitalistic, greedy
and self centred. Greed is self destructive. We survived
again another year, and Desert Point Surf Shop will go on
from strength to strength. Again with sincerity, both Sabine
and I, want to thank all of you, who support our shop for
your faithfulness and commitment. Check out our site for

Bonjour tout le monde!!!
Et oui, nous revoilà à l’époque
de la fin d’année, 2009 est venue et est repartie.
La saison n’a pas été
trop mauvaise pour nous qui aimons l’été.
Six mois de Avril à fin Septembre, nous avons fait
une saison plutôt raisonnable, avec un temps agréable,
et régulièrement des vagues, beaucoup de surfeurs
ont eu des bonnes vagues comme ils n’avaient pas vu
depuis longtemps.
Question business, nous avons trouvé
que beaucoup de personnes et compagnies, avec lesquelles
nous travaillons depuis plusieurs années, ont changé
avec le climat social et politique, “centre droite”,
dans un pays qui devient capitaliste, avare et égoïste.
L’avarice est autodestructive. Nous avons encore survécu
un autre année, et Desert Point Surf Shop devient
de plus en plus fort chaque année. Avec sincérité,
Sabine et moi voulons tous vous remercier, vous qui supportez
fidélement notre magasin. Regardez notre site pour
l’année prochaine, vous y trouverez les NOUVELLES
